21st Congressional District, New York

The 21st District spans seven counties - including all of Albany, Schenectady, Schoharie, and Montgomery as well as parts of Fulton, Rensselaer,
and Saratoga. It includes the cities of Albany, Amsterdam, Cohoes, Cobleskill, Gloversville, Johnstown, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Troy, and Watervliet. It also
spans the farmlands of rural Fulton, Montgomery and Schoharie counties and many vibrant and unique residential communities in between.
The 21st District is home
to the capital of New York State, world-renowned institutions of higher learning, fine arts and history institutions, entertainment and recreational venues. It
was settled by the Dutch in the 1600's and was an important battleground for our nation's independence. In recent years, the region has become known as the heart
of New York's "Tech Valley," as it serves as home to numerous high-technology companies and research facilities.
